Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents during overnight hours
• Monitor patient condition and report changes promptly to nursing staff
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Deliver medications and treatments as directed and document accurately
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and clinical team to support continuity of care
• Support admissions, discharges, and transfers with attention to dignity and privacy

Qualifications

• Active LNA or T-LNA certification (Licensed Nursing Assistant) valid for VT/NH
• Comfortable and experienced working overnight shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) on Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• Prior experience as a nursing assistant preferred; strong hands-on patient care skills
• Ability to stand for long periods, assist with transfers, and perform physical caregiving duties
• Reliable travel readiness for a contract assignment and ability to start per travel timelines
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong bedside manner and patient-centered communication
• Accurate charting and documentation skills
• Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling
• Ability to triage concerns and escalate to licensed nursing staff
• Teamwork mindset and flexibility in a fast-paced overnight setting
• Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs during night hours
