IR Technologist - Interventional Radiology
Location: Los Angeles, California
Start Date: 06-22-2026
End Date: 09-21-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts with on-call rotation (1-2 weekends per month, 30-minute response time)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $78 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform specialized interventional radiology procedures with precision and care
- Operate fluoroscopy equipment and ensure optimal image quality
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff during complex procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR system
- Prepare patients and equipment for interventional procedures
- Respond to on-call needs to support critical patient care
Qualifications
- ARRT-VI certification required
- Current California Radiologic Technologist license
- Fluoro permit required
- BLS certification
- Experience in interventional radiology or cath lab settings preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of interventional radiology procedures
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail in high-stakes procedural environments
- Ability to respond quickly during on-call situations
