Location: Bakersfield, CA

Start Date: 06-18-2026

End Date: 09-17-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, with on-call rotation nights and weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $83 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform interventional radiology procedures including dialysis catheter placements, IVC filter placements, TIPPS, and CT biopsies
Operate advanced imaging equipment such as GE Innova, MedRad Injector, and Angiojet
Collaborate with radiologists and nursing staff to ensure safe and effective patient care
Maintain accurate documentation in CERNER and RADNET
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend coverage

Qualifications

ARRT certification required (RT)(R)
VI certification preferred
Minimum 1 year of IR experience preferred
BLS certification required
Experience with CERNER and RADNET EMR systems

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with GE Innova, MedRad Injector, GE Logic Book, and Angiojet
Knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and patient care
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently
