Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic CT and X-ray exams for patients across the lifespan, from newborn to geriatric
• Administer IV contrast safely and competently while monitoring patient responses
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment (Siemens Somatom 40-slice, Carestream) to produce consistent, accurate studies
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in HMS Medhost EMR
• Collaborate with physicians and interdepartmental staff to ensure timely, patient-centered care
• Prioritize patient safety, infection control, and best-practice imaging protocols at all times
• Work independently when required, demonstrating sound judgment and initiative in the clinical setting
• Participate in quality assurance activities to uphold high imaging standards

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years current Imaging/CT/X-Ray experience (required)
• ARRT (CT) certification required (DOCUMENT)
• Valid NH License of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy / NH MIRT in-hand (required)
• BLS certification required
• Strong IV skills for contrast administration (required)
• Proficiency with MediTech, Philips, Siemens, AGFA DR, OEC C-arm highly preferred
• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running
• Bachelor's degree highly preferred

Education

• Bachelor's degree - highly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• CT imaging techniques and cross-sectional anatomy
• X-ray imaging principles and positioning
• IV contrast administration and patient monitoring
• Patient care across all age groups (newborn to geriatric)
• Experience with HMS Medhost EMR
• Familiarity with Siemens Somatom, Carestream, MediTech, Philips, AGFA DR, OEC C-arm
• Strong attention to image quality, safety, and regulatory compliance (ARRT/NH MIRT)
