Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to the nursing team
Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and safe positioning
Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards in patient areas
Document care and observations clearly and promptly in the patient record
Collaborate with RNs, LPNs, and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans
Support a positive patient experience by communicating respectfully and attentively

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Completion of a state-approved nurse aide or CNA program
Comfort working 8-hour shifts in a fast-paced clinical environment
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Basic ability to read, write, and document patient information accurately

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of a state-approved CNA program required

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and personal hygiene assistance
Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
Infection prevention and safe handling techniques
Effective communication with patients and the care team
Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
Comfortable with electronic charting or willingness to learn
