Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care aligned with facility standards
Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding) with dignity and respect
Take and record vital signs and communicate changes promptly to the nursing team
Support mobility and safety by assisting with transfers and fall-prevention measures
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and observations
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to implement care plans
Foster a positive, reassuring environment for patients and families

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Active credentialing or ability to work under facility credentialing processes in Pennsylvania
Comfortable providing direct patient care in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Reliable, professional, and patient-focused attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed state-recognized CNA training program and certification

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of basic patient care procedures and infection control
Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
Patient lifting and transfer techniques with an emphasis on safety
Basic charting and documentation skills
Good interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and staff
