Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
Support safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
Maintain a clean, compassionate patient environment and follow infection control protocols
Document care in a timely, accurate manner and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members
Provide patient-centered support that preserves dignity and comfort during their stay

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification in Georgia (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred or obtain shortly after hire)
Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required by facility
Up-to-date immunizations per facility policy or willingness to complete them
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed CNA training program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care skills and familiarity with ADLs
Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
Comfortable with patient handling and safe transfer techniques
Ability to observe, record, and report patient changes accurately
Teamwork mindset and respectful communication with patients and staff
