Roles & Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and functional mobility to restore independence
Implement individualized treatment plans designed by the Occupational Therapist
Monitor and document patient progress accurately and timely
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
Maintain compliance with facility and state regulations to ensure safe, high-quality care

Qualifications

Active California COTA license (Required)
Current BLS certification
SNF or post-acute experience preferred
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to follow treatment plans and document patient progress clearly
Comfort working as part of a collaborative rehabilitation team

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in assisting with ADLs and functional mobility training
Knowledge of implementing OT treatment plans and therapeutic techniques
Strong documentation practices and outcome tracking
Effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Familiarity with SNF regulations and post-acute care processes
Patient-centered approach focused on restoring independence
