Location: Wayne, PA

Shift Type: Days not specified, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Day shift (30-minute meal break)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on personal care to residents, helping with activities of daily living
Assist with safe and comfortable transfers, mobility and positioning
Take and record vital signs accurately and promptly
Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff to support excellent outcomes
Help maintain a clean, safe and respectful environment for residents
Support feeding, bathing and toileting needs with dignity and respect
Build trusting relationships with residents and families through clear communication and empathy

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (or eligible to obtain) — Pennsylvania preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, patient-focused care
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on a care team
Ability to pass background checks and required facility screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
Proficient in taking and documenting vital signs
Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
Comfortable with basic resident mobility and safe transfer techniques
Able to follow care plans, charting procedures and report changes effectively
Customer-service mindset when interacting with residents and families
