Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living — bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility with dignity and respect
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to the care team
• Provide compassionate personal care and emotional support to residents and their families
• Maintain clean, safe resident environments following infection control best practices
• Document care and observations clearly and timely in the patient record
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to support individualized care plans
• Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect residents and staff

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — required
• BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Current immunizations and ability to pass required health screenings
• Background check and drug screen clearance as part of onboarding
• Previous CNA experience helpful, but compassionate, reliable caregivers are welcomed

Education

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient-centered care and bedside manner
• Clear verbal and written communication with residents and clinical teams
• Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy setting
• Basic clinical skills: vitals, ADL assistance, safe resident handling
• Teamwork, adaptability, and a calm approach in stressful situations
