Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and safe positioning
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
Support meal assistance and feeding when required
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
Document care and observations clearly in the patient record
Communicate effectively with nurses, families, and interdisciplinary staff to support patient-centered care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in good standing
Previous experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant preferred
Up-to-date CPR/BLS certification as required by facility
Ability to pass background and health screenings as required
Reliable transportation required for this local-only assignment
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in safe patient handling and basic mobility assistance
Knowledge of infection prevention and standard precautions
Comfortable with basic clinical tasks like vitals, ADLs, and documentation
Good observational skills to notice changes in condition and escalate appropriately
Customer-service mindset when interacting with residents and families
