Location: High Point, NC

Shift Type: Varied schedule, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift); specific days to be scheduled with facility

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist nursing staff with vital sign checks, documentation, and routine observations
Support patient comfort and safety during meals, mobility, and hygiene routines
Communicate changes in patient condition promptly to the nursing team
Maintain a clean, organized environment and follow infection control practices
Build trusting relationships with patients and families through respectful interactions

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
Active state CNA listing for North Carolina or eligibility to obtain it
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Compassionate attitude, strong communication skills, and a teamwork mindset

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an approved CNA training program required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and safety protocols
Comfortable with assisting patients with mobility, transfers, and ADLs
Basic charting and documentation skills
Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively with nursing staff
Good time management and prioritization during a busy shift
