Location: Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, day shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
- Measure, record and report vital signs and other clinical observations accurately
- Assist nursing team with safe patient transfers and mobility support
- Maintain clear, timely documentation of care and patient condition
- Observe and promptly communicate changes in patient status to the nursing team
- Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility procedures consistently
- Support residents’ dignity, comfort and emotional needs through respectful interactions
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
- Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to compassionate patient care
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on patient care and assistance with ADLs
- Vital signs monitoring and basic clinical observation
- Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
- Infection control practices and proper PPE use
- Basic documentation and charting of care
- Empathy, strong interpersonal skills, and teamwork
