Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, respectful personal care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Support safe mobility and transfers while promoting patient independence
Monitor and report changes in condition to the nursing team promptly
Accurately document care, vital signs, and observations in the chart
Work collaboratively with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, active in New Mexico or eligible for state certification
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required by facility
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Reliable, punctual, and able to work 12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient care and infection control practices
Ability to take and record basic vital signs and observations
Safe transfer and lifting techniques
Basic charting and record-keeping skills
Teamwork, time management, and strong interpersonal skills
