Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled physical therapy evaluations and individualized treatment plans
• Provide hands-on interventions and therapeutic exercises to improve function
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Document patient progress comprehensively and in a timely manner
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safe mobility
• Demonstrate clinical decision making to ensure safe, effective outcomes
• Support facility goals by contributing to a positive, patient-focused culture

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in North Carolina or compact licensure where applicable
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent professional degree preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Comfort working in a rehabilitation setting and treating a variety of diagnoses
• Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with care teams

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Master's in Physical Therapy considered

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in musculoskeletal and neuromuscular assessment
• Proficient with therapeutic modalities, manual techniques, and therapeutic exercise
• Solid documentation practices and familiarity with electronic medical records
• Ability to design safe mobility and fall-prevention plans
• Patient education and family training to support long-term recovery
• Time management and caseload prioritization to meet clinical demands
