Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care that supports recovery and comfort
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely according to orders
• Perform thorough assessments and communicate changes in patient condition promptly
• Document care activities and observations clearly in the patient record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and follow individualized care plans
• Support patients and families with education, empathy, and clear instructions

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential
• Active license in New Mexico or eligibility to obtain state licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or required where applicable
• Comfortable working night shifts and providing hands-on nursing care
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program

• Medication administration and monitoring
• Fundamental patient assessment and documentation
• Infection control and safety-focused care practices
• Time management and prioritization during busy shift periods
• Effective interpersonal skills with patients, families, and clinical teams
