Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve patients' activities of daily living and functional independence
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Document progress, goals, and outcomes clearly and timely in the medical record
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques and home programs
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, patient-centered culture

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or eligibility for Maryland state licensure
• Current certification/credentials as required by state (OTR, OT license)
• CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Comfort working in a fast-paced rehabilitation/contract setting

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor's, Master's, or entry-level Doctorate in OT) — program completion and program credentials as required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in ADL/IADL evaluation and therapeutic activity planning
• Knowledge of adaptive equipment and durable medical equipment recommendations
• Proficient in clinical documentation standards and outcome measurement
• Ability to design individualized interventions for a variety of diagnoses
• Strong time management and caseload prioritization skills
