Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with daily living activities
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, following facility protocols
• Monitor patient condition and report changes promptly to the care team
• Document care accurately and maintain clear, timely medical records
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff to support patient goals
• Support a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients and families

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — core requirement for this role
• Active LPN licensure in New Mexico (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Clinical experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team
• Current basic life support (BLS) certification if required by facility policies

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program or equivalent vocational nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of medication administration and basic nursing procedures
• Comfortable with overnight clinical responsibilities and observational nursing
• Accurate charting and documentation skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting and respond to changing patient needs
• Personable bedside manner and strong patient/family communication
