Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight shifts
• Assess and monitor patient condition; intervene and escalate as needed
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Document assessments, interventions, and care plans in the medical record
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
• Support safe patient transitions and communicate clearly at handoff

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license valid in Maine (or compact license where applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS or PALS as appropriate/preferred
• Recent clinical experience in acute care, med-surg, or related setting preferred
• Current immunizations and ability to pass background/drug screening
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, BSN, or diploma for RN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy competency
• Familiarity with electronic charting and accurate documentation
• Ability to manage multiple priorities during overnight shifts
• Team collaboration, patient advocacy, and family-centered care
