Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents and patients
• Assess patient condition, monitor changes, and implement care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate excellent care
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and staff to ensure continuity of care
• Respond to emergencies and escalating situations with calm and clinical skill
• Mentor and support Licensed Practical Nurses and support staff when appropriate
• Contribute to quality improvement efforts and maintain compliance with facility standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (RN or LPN classification noted)
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or obtain upon hire)
• Demonstrated clinical competence and strong assessment skills
• Comfortable working overnight/extended shifts and collaborating with a team
• Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or related settings is a plus

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Medication administration and safe documentation practices
• Familiarity with electronic health records and clear charting
• Infection prevention and control best practices
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical setting
