Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Perform timely patient assessments and communicate changes to the care team
• Document care and clinical observations thoroughly in the health record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and follow care plans
• Support admissions, discharges, and transfers with attention to detail
• Assist with patient education and family communication to improve outcomes

Qualifications

• Current, active New Mexico LPN or RN license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS/PALS a plus if applicable
• Relevant clinical experience preferred, especially in rehab or long-term care
• Ability to pass facility background checks and health screenings
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team-focused environment

Education

• LPN: Vocational diploma or certificate in Practical Nursing
• RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and safe documentation practices
• Patient assessment, wound care basics, and vitals monitoring
• Familiarity with electronic health record charting
• Good clinical judgment, prioritization, and time management
• Strong communication skills with patients, families, and staff
