Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Take and record vital signs and routine observations accurately
• Support safe transfers and mobility assistance with proper technique
• Document care provided in the resident record in a timely and accurate way
• Communicate changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents and families
• Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, and support staff to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid state CNA registry or license as required by facility
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to work the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM shift reliably
• Successful background check and any required immunizations or screenings

Education

• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care skills and experience with ADLs
• Proficient in taking and recording vital signs
• Basic charting and documentation knowledge
• Understanding of infection control and safety procedures
• Clear communication and teamwork skills
• Compassion, patience, and a resident-centered approach
