Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with compassion and dignity
• Take and record vital signs and report changes promptly to the nursing team
• Support mobility and transfers safely, using proper body mechanics and lift protocols
• Provide comforting, person-centered care and promote resident independence whenever possible
• Document care accurately and communicate effectively with your team to ensure continuity
• Help maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices

Qualifications

• Active Vermont LNA license (required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to work required weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday evenings)
• Background check and required health screenings as per facility policy
• Reliable, team-oriented attitude and a caring bedside manner

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide (LNA) program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong resident-centered care skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable assisting with ADLs and mobility support
• Basic vital sign measurement and documentation
• Good communication and teamwork with nurses, therapists, and support staff
• Time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced care setting
