Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care to residents — assist with activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Monitor and document resident conditions and vital signs accurately and promptly
Support safe transfers and positioning to promote comfort and prevent injury
Communicate clearly with nurses and the care team to ensure continuity of care
Contribute to a clean, organized, and respectful environment for residents
Engage residents in friendly conversation and meaningful activity to support emotional wellbeing

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
Must have reliable personal transportation — this is a local-only role and public/ride-share may not be available
Ability to pass facility onboarding requirements (background check and any required screenings)
Comfortable working a daytime schedule and collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on experience with resident care and ADLs
Accurate documentation and basic charting skills
Strong communication and teamwork ability
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Compassionate bedside manner and attention to resident dignity
