Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and support daily living activities
• Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, ambulation and safe transfers using proper body mechanics
• Monitor and record vital signs and resident observations accurately and promptly
• Support residents during meals and ensure dignity and comfort throughout care
• Communicate changes in condition or concerns to the nursing team and document thoroughly
• Follow infection control, safety protocols and facility policies to protect residents and staff

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Able to pass required background checks and pre-employment screenings
• Up-to-date immunizations as required by facility policy
• Reliable transportation and availability for per diem shifts

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on resident care and activities of daily living
• Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
• Safe transfer and mobility assistance techniques
• Clear, compassionate communication with residents, families and team members
• Basic charting and following care plans
• Teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced care environment
