Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in condition promptly
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe positioning to promote comfort and dignity
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with nurses and care team
• Support mealtime assistance and attention to dietary needs and preferences
• Follow infection control procedures and facility safety protocols at all times

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Ability to work evening shifts and provide reliable, consistent care
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Background check and any facility-required screenings completed prior to start

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on resident care and assistance with ADLs
• Vital signs measurement, documentation, and reporting
• Safe transfer and ambulation techniques
• Infection control and basic wound care awareness
• Clear communication with residents, families, and clinical staff
• Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
