Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Provide compassionate, person-centered care that preserves dignity and comfort
• Take and record vital signs and report any changes in condition to the nursing team promptly
• Document care accurately in the resident chart and communicate updates during handoff
• Support safe transfer and positioning techniques to prevent injury
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to meet resident care goals
• Maintain cleanliness, infection-control practices, and a safe environment for residents

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
• Completion of a state-approved CNA program (or equivalent) required
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain promptly
• Comfortable working the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM shift and able to adapt to per diem scheduling
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a care team
• Willingness to pass background check and any required health screenings

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and assistance with ADLs
• Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
• Infection prevention and safe hygiene practices
• Safe resident transfer and positioning techniques
• Clear verbal and written communication for effective handoffs
• Teamwork, reliability, and good time management in a clinical setting
