Shift Type: Monday-Friday, staggered start between 7:00 AM - 8:30 AM for an 8-hour day (typical 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM), Day shift with weekends and evenings/nights on-call rotation
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Scrub and maintain a sterile field during interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and procedural integrity
- Assist and support neuro/stroke interventions and a full range of IR procedures including angioplasty, stents, biopsies, drainages, and vascular studies
- Operate and troubleshoot Siemens and Phillips imaging systems with confidence
- Manage PACS imaging workflows, assist with contrast administration, and ensure accurate image documentation
- Prepare patients for procedures, verify clinical information, and support recovery and post-procedural needs
- Participate in on-call rotations for evenings and weekends as part of the primary/backup team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including radiologists, nurses, and techs to deliver high-quality care
- Complete required charting and use electronic systems such as Epic or McKesson when applicable
Qualifications
- ARRT (R) certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience with strong Neuro/Stroke IR experience (HARD STOP)
- Minimum 1 year of scrub experience; must have scrub experience on Neuro
- Travel experience required — first-time travelers are not accepted
- Experience with Siemens and Phillips x-ray equipment and PACS required
- EPIC and McKesson experience preferred; ARRT Advanced Certification preferred
- Inpatient hospital experience preferred; experience in OR, ED, Level I trauma, or teaching hospitals is a plus
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent
- ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT Advanced Certification preferred
- BLS certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Interventional Radiology procedures across neuro and body (stents, angioplasty, angiograms, biopsies, drainages, ablations)
- Contrast administration and monitoring
- Proficiency with PACS and image management workflows
- Hands-on experience with Siemens and Phillips imaging systems (Acuson preferred)
- Strong sterile technique and scrub procedure skills
- Ability to support vascular access procedures including central venous access and PICC care
- Comfort working with adult and geriatric patient populations and occasional adolescents
- Effective communication and teamwork in high-acuity procedural settings
