Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care during overnight shifts
• Assess and monitor patient status, recognizing changes and escalating appropriately
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans
• Perform thorough documentation in the patient record and communicate handoffs clearly
• Educate patients and families with clear, respectful instructions and support

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (California) or eligibility to practice in California
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Previous acute care or hospital nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently overnight
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and monitoring skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy proficiency
• Comfortable with electronic health records and accurate documentation
• Good time management, prioritization, and critical thinking
• Collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams
