Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, direct patient care including assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding) to promote dignity and comfort
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team to support timely clinical decisions
• Assist with patient mobility and transfers safely, using proper body mechanics and equipment
• Document patient observations and care delivered clearly and promptly to maintain accurate patient records
• Collaborate with nurses and allied staff to deliver coordinated, person-centered care
• Maintain infection control standards and a clean, safe environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification required (California CNA preferred)
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility health requirements (TB screening, immunizations)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; compassionate bedside manner
• Previous CNA experience preferred but motivated new CNAs with training are welcome

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic patient care skills and comfort assisting with ADLs
• Accurate vital sign measurement and documentation
• Familiarity with infection control and patient safety practices
• Good observational skills and the ability to escalate concerns appropriately
• Team-oriented mindset and reliable time management
