Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
- Support safe patient transfers and maintain proper body mechanics
- Document care and observations clearly in the patient record
- Maintain infection control and safety standards on every shift
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification valid in California
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfortable providing direct patient care and assisting with activities of daily living
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on a care team
- Prior care experience preferred; enthusiastic entry-level CNAs encouraged to apply
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient care fundamentals and ADL assistance
- Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
- Infection control practices and safe patient handling
- Clear, compassionate communication with patients and families
- Basic charting and documentation practices
