Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered telemetry nursing care throughout your shift
• Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and promptly escalate changes to the care team
• Administer medications and IV therapies safely and according to protocol
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to deliver coordinated care
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately in the chart
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, employing sound clinical judgment
• Educate patients and families on condition, plan of care, and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted California Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Telemetry experience preferred; demonstrated comfort with cardiac monitoring
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Strong assessment skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a patient-first mindset

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and recognizing cardiac rhythms
• Medication administration and IV therapy skills
• Skilled in patient assessment, triage, and clinical decision-making
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
• Ability to work independently during night shifts and escalate concerns appropriately
