Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients as a Certified Nursing Assistant
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
• Accurately document care, vital signs, and observations in the medical record
• Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to support patient goals
• Support a positive patient experience by communicating clearly and respectfully

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (California) required
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or required by facility
• Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening per employer policy
• Ability to pass background check and any facility onboarding requirements
• Strong communication skills and a caring bedside manner
• Previous CNA experience in clinical, school health, or long-term care settings preferred

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completed CNA program and valid CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and patient safety practices
• Comfortable with vital signs, bathing, transfers, and ADL assistance
• Familiarity with charting and basic documentation standards
• Infection control best practices and PPE use
• Teamwork, time management, and the ability to prioritize patient needs
