Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on basic nursing care to patients as a Certified Nursing Assistant
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team promptly
• Document patient interactions and care accurately and timely in the charting system
• Support patient mobility and safe transfer techniques to reduce fall risk
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control policies
• Collaborate with nurses and multidisciplinary staff to help deliver excellent patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Current, active CNA certification (California) required
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or obtainable upon hire
• Ability to pass background checks, TB screening, and required immunizations
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Reliable, flexible availability for per diem scheduling

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable with patient hygiene, ADLs, and mobility assistance
• Skilled in taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Familiarity with basic charting and documentation practices
• Knowledge of infection control best practices and safety protocols
• Good time management, organization, and the ability to work independently
