Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care as a certified nursing assistant
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and document patient status and communicate changes to the nursing team
• Support safe patient transfers and infection control practices at all times
• Help create a comfortable, respectful environment for patients and families
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to follow care plans and improve outcomes

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification in the state of California
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable working overnight shifts and supporting acute patient needs
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
• Previous experience as a CNA preferred but new grads with certification are welcome

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; active CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care fundamentals and safe transfer techniques
• Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
• Infection prevention and standard precautions
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong observational skills
