Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality critical care to adult ICU patients
• Perform thorough patient assessments and implement appropriate interventions
• Manage ventilators and advanced life support equipment with precision
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute care plans
• Monitor hemodynamics, titrate vasoactive medications, and document changes
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, and recovery
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, demonstrating sound clinical judgment

Qualifications

• Active RN license in California or eligibility to obtain one
• Minimum ICU experience preferred (critical care exposure strongly recommended)
• Current BLS required; ACLS strongly preferred
• Demonstrated competency with ventilator management and critical care monitoring
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced settings

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Advanced assessment skills for critically ill adults
• Familiarity with ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and infusion pumps
• Knowledge of acute care protocols, sepsis bundles, and airway management
• Comfortable with electronic health record documentation and charting
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and maintain attention to detail under pressure
