Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
- Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility to prevent falls and injury
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments and follow infection control practices
- Document care and observations clearly and promptly in the patient record
- Communicate respectfully and collaboratively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Qualifications
- Active CNA/CNA certification in California (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Prior patient care experience preferred but new grads are welcome to apply
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
- Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- Completed CNA program and current CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic nursing care and patient hygiene
- Vital sign measurement and documentation
- Safe transfer and mobility assistance techniques
- Infection prevention and control practices
- Time management and teamwork in a fast-paced care setting
- Clear, professional patient and family communication
