Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care to patients, supporting daily living activities
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Take and record vital signs accurately and communicate changes promptly
• Document care and observations in patient records clearly and timely
• Collaborate with nurses and the care team to support patient comfort and safety
• Maintain infection control practices and a safe care environment

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in the state of California
• Active basic life support (BLS/CPR) preferred or willingness to obtain
• Reliable, professional, and patient-focused with strong communication skills
• Ability to perform physical aspects of the role, including safe patient transfers
• Flexible availability for per diem shifts

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of patient care basics and activities of daily living
• Ability to take accurate vital signs and report changes
• Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
• Comfortable with documentation and following care plans
• Teamwork, time management, and patient-centered communication
