Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to assigned patients during the 12-hour day shift
• Perform thorough assessments and document findings clearly in the medical record
• Administer medications and treatments safely and according to policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families in a clear, supportive manner
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and handoffs for continuity of care

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Experience as an RN in acute care or relevant clinical setting preferred
• Familiarity or experience with MST programs or related specialty is a plus
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently on per-diem assignments and integrate quickly with established teams

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, medication administration, and IV therapy
• Proficient with electronic medical record charting and documentation
• Comfortable prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills with patients and staff
• Knowledge of infection control practices and safety protocols
