Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Take and record vital signs accurately and communicate changes to the nursing team
- Support safe and dignified mobility, transfers, and repositioning
- Assist with meal service, feeding, and ensuring proper hydration
- Maintain clear, timely documentation and contribute to care plans
- Work collaboratively with nurses and care staff to deliver consistent, high-quality care
- Promote a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential in the appropriate state
- CPR/BLS certification required or willing to obtain
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
- Comfortable working overnight shifts and supporting a variety of resident needs
- Dependable, compassionate, and patient-focused with good communication skills
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an approved nursing assistant program
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical skills in basic patient care and ADLs
- Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
- Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork mindset
- Familiarity with resident rights, dignity, and safety practices
- Basic charting and following care plan instructions
