Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care and assist residents with activities of daily living
- Support safe transfers, ambulation, and mobility for patients
- Monitor and document patient condition, behavior and vital signs accurately
- Communicate meaningful updates and any concerns to the nursing team in a timely way
- Maintain a clean, safe and respectful environment that preserves patient dignity
- Participate in care planning and follow individualized care plans
- Demonstrate reliability and professionalism during overnight coverage
Qualifications
- Active LNA / Licensed Nursing Assistant certification (LNA) — VT/NH experience welcome
- Comfortable and available for overnight shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Ability to follow care plans, document clearly, and communicate with the team
- Compassionate approach to resident-centered care and respect for privacy
Education
- Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant program or equivalent training
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on patient care skills and familiarity with basic nursing assistant duties
- Fundamentals of infection control and safe patient handling
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Teamwork mindset and the ability to take direction from nursing staff
- Good time management and attention to documentation detail
