Shift Type: Per diem (varies), 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM NOC
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $24 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist nursing staff with safe transfers, mobility assistance, and positioning
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and patient condition accurately
- Maintain clear, timely documentation in the patient record
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
- Communicate effectively with nurses, therapists, patients, and families to support care plans
Qualifications
- Current LNA license (Licensed Nursing Assistant) for VT or NH as required by the facility
- Basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfort working overnight shifts and adapting to per-diem scheduling
- Ability to pass required background checks and meet facility immunization requirements
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
Education
- Completion of a state-approved LNA program or equivalent
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
- Able to take and document accurate vital signs and observations
- Knowledge of basic infection control and standard precautions
- Familiarity with safe patient handling and transfer techniques
- Good charting and documentation habits
- Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills
