Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct care to residents, helping with daily living activities
- Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility and transfers with dignity
- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in condition promptly
- Maintain clear, timely documentation in resident charts and care plans
- Communicate effectively with nurses, families and the care team to ensure continuity
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
- Support a positive, respectful environment that promotes resident independence
Qualifications
- Current LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) certification
- Comfortable working the overnight schedule of 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM as a per diem team member
- Ability to provide compassionate, resident-centered care and communicate clearly
- Willingness to complete facility-required background checks and screenings
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while collaborating with the team
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an approved LNA training program and current certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on experience with activities of daily living and resident assistance
- Knowledge of basic vital sign measurement and documentation
- Familiarity with infection prevention practices and safe patient handling
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow care plans and instructions
