Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, and feeding as needed
- Monitor residents’ condition and promptly report changes to the nursing team
- Document care accurately and maintain clear resident records
- Support a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
- Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, and support staff to deliver excellent care
Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential – required
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or ability to obtain upon hire
- Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts when scheduled
- Good communication skills and a strong commitment to resident dignity
- Ability to pass background and health screening requirements
Education
- Completion of an LNA training program or equivalent credential
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Practical experience with ADLs and basic bedside care
- Familiarity with documentation and care charting
- Understanding of infection control and standard precautions
- Strong teamwork, time management, and resident-centered communication
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures and fall prevention
