Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care to residents, focusing on dignity and comfort
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, intake/output, and any changes in condition
• Collaborate with RNs and interdisciplinary team members to support individualized care plans
• Support safe transfers and positioning to prevent falls and pressure injuries
• Communicate clearly and politely with patients and family members to build trust
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential valid for Vermont and New Hampshire
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
• Comfort working night shifts and flexible per-diem scheduling
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude

Education

• Completion of a state-approved LNA training program
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs and mobility support
• Knowledge of basic charting and documentation practices
• Familiarity with infection control and safe patient handling
• Good observation skills to report changes in patient status
• Teamwork and time management in a fast-paced clinical setting
