Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Day shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Support safe transfers, mobility, and positioning to promote comfort and dignity
Perform timely documentation and communicate changes in resident status to the nursing team
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
Assist with meal times and ensure residents receive necessary hydration and nutrition support
Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to create a positive, person-centered care environment

Qualifications

Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification — VT or NH license preferred/required
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
Comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility for adult/adult-geriatric residents
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on a care team
Reliable, professional, and committed to resident dignity and safety

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an approved LNA (or CNA) training program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical care skills (vital signs, ADL assistance, safe transfers)
Resident-centered care and respectful communication
Charting and documentation fundamentals
Infection prevention and control practices
Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
