Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, supporting dignity and comfort
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Take and record vital signs and report changes in condition to the nursing team
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in resident charts and care plans
• Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and equipment
• Follow infection control procedures and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, families, and staff to promote teamwork and continuity of care

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification — valid for New Hampshire or Vermont (position listed VT/NH)
• Completion of an approved nursing assistant training program
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Clear background check and ability to meet facility health screening requirements
• Dependable, compassionate, and patient-focused with good communication skills
• Ability to work per diem shifts and travel locally to Lebanon area as needed

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completion of an accredited nursing assistant (LNA) training program required

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic patient care and hands-on assistance with ADLs
• Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs accurately
• Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
• Good observational skills to notice and report changes in resident status
• Team-oriented communication and time management in busy care settings
• Respectful, person-centered approach to resident care
