Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and document resident status accurately and promptly to support care plans
• Assist licensed nursing staff with treatments and resident mobility as directed
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control best practices
• Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and the care team
• Support resident dignity and independence while responding promptly to needs

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential — eligible for VT or NH practice
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Demonstrated compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills
• Ability to pass facility-required background checks and health screenings
• Comfortable with lifting/assisting residents and performing physical caregiving tasks

Education

• Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in resident bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, and mobility assistance
• Familiarity with documentation of vital signs and basic clinical observations
• Understanding of infection control, fall prevention, and safe resident handling
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork in a long-term care environment
• Ability to follow care plans and take direction from RNs/LPNs effectively
