Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care to residents, focusing on dignity and comfort
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
- Support safe patient transfers and mobility with proper techniques
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans
- Follow infection control protocols to promote a safe environment
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential - NH or VT licensure preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Comfortable working overnight shifts and providing direct resident care
- Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of an approved LNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on resident care and ADL assistance
- Accurate charting and basic clinical documentation
- Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
- Basic medical terminology and infection prevention practices
- Strong observational skills and the ability to escalate concerns appropriately
