Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Support safe transfers, mobility, and positioning with proper techniques
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team
- Document care accurately and timely to ensure continuity
- Collaborate with nurses and support staff to deliver person-centered care
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Qualifications
- Current LNA certification (Class: LNA) valid for VT or NH as applicable
- Basic CPR certification required or willing to obtain
- Ability to pass background and health screenings
- Comfortable working in long day shifts and collaborating with a team
- Previous experience as a nursing assistant is a plus but motivated newcomers are welcome
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant program and state LNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong resident care skills and knowledge of ADLs
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Basic charting and documentation skills
- Infection control and safety awareness
- Time management and reliability during long shifts
